blogger's block

Well...for right now I have writer's blogger's block.  I just can't find time in my day to sit down and write.  I have a feeling I am gonna just be doing several week updates throughout this semester since I am so busy with school.

Over the past week + 1 day I haven't really done much besides school....although last Saturday the Gamecocks came away with their 4th win of the season against Vanderbilt.  It hasn't been a pretty season, but at least their winning.  For the Vanderbilt game Gair and I tailgated with our friends Yates and Ashley. Yates spent the majority of the time trying to set up a TV with the game on.  The final outcome....we had the game on, but no sound!  This was quite interesting, because we could hear the cheers from the crowd, the play-by-play from Todd Ellis, and then about 12 seconds later we would see it on the TV :)

Sunday Gair and I drove to IOP to see my parents because Gair had a meeting with a client downtown on Monday.  Monday morning we headed downtown for Gair to have a quick meeting and then we spent the rest of the afternoon walking around downtown looking at beautiful architecture and reading the history about them.  Of course we did a little shopping on King Street as well :) We finished our day in downtown at a DELICIOUS Irish restaurant!  I can't remember what it was called though :(  I do remember that it was on East Bay though :)  We headed back to mom and dad's house and Gair finished the day catching up on work and I did some reading for school.  I am glad we got to spend some time with Moma and Daddy and even got to have a yummy dinner with them at Acme before heading back to Columbia.

This week has been filled with a whole lotta nothing so far.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to talk with her as much on Skype as I did when she first got there.  She has been a busy little bee!  You can read about some of her adventures here.

It's Thursday...YAY!  That means it's ALMOST the weekend...and the Gamecocks are playing the Auburn Tigers this weekend.  Let's hope Garcia shows up this week :)
