What an AWESOME experience this was! These are just some of the pictures that I took while we were hiking up to see the waterfall. There wasn't anyone up there with us at the same time, so I had to put my camera on a timer to get a picture with both of us in it :) Before we went back to the house we drove to Hendersonville and ate lunch at a restaurant called Binion's. It was really good! After lunch, we stopped at the grocery store and picked up some stuff to grill out for dinner that night. As much as I love going to the mountain house, the drive down the mountain always makes me nervous.
Sunday we drove to downtown Asheville (it's only like a 30 minute drive once you get up the mountain). I had never been before, so that was an experience. It is a very eclectic city that is completely different from what I see everyday in Columbia. We couldn't decide where we were going to eat lunch until I saw this place...
So obviously...we had to eat here!! AND it was MEXICAN food :) My favorite! So we walked around and did a little shopping around downtown Asheville and then headed back to the cabin for the night. Since it is so hard to leave such a WONDERFUL place, we decided to stay Sunday night too and head back Monday morning!
We are so lucky to be able to visit such a beautiful place thank's to the Heady's :)
